Pondering what Armed Assault will bring compared to what we need

I have been typing up a small document to try and list the things I think we will need to make the kinds of multiplayer campaigning that is the core concept everything here revolves around. The idea is that the quicker we can gauge what Armed Assault has and does not have of the things we need, the quicker we can fill out the holes and start making something really interesting...

Basically I want to make a sort of check-list we can run through as soon as someone from here get their hands on Armed Assault, maybe some of it even before we get it that way we can prepare ourselves for what will need to be done without requiring 6 months or more to each individually learn the possibilities of the new game in SoW terms.

If anyone has any ideas about what they will need to make the perfect multiplayer campaigning mission, please let me know and I'll put it on the list...

The obvious things I have so far are of course things like the possibilities for saving in multiplayer and the quality of long range pathfinding and such - just to give a couple of examples.

Sounds good. Thinking ahead might give us a little more leg room. Why don't you start a forum thread to flesh out major concepts we'd like to work on post-AA?
